When I first heard about this cleanse, I really wanted to try it. I am 5'11 and weight around 160-165 lbs. I didn't need to lose weight, but I felt a cleanse needed to be done. I wanted to improve my skin, be more energized and healthy.
Technically proper eating would fix that, but it would take weeks if not months and the more unhealthy someone is, the longer it will take for regular dieting (eating healthy and exercising) to work. A master cleanse gets that job done in 10 days or less.
Now how exactly does one do a master cleanse? Here's the "basic" way it's done:
You drink about 1-2 cups of salt water in the morning.
Drink lemon juice mixed with maple syrup and a little bit of cayanne pepper at least 6 times a day.

Rinse, repeat for 7-10 days. Seems simple right? I though so too, but then...
I found out you COULDN'T eat for that time! And I said: Well since i'll be drinking alot, I should be able to manage it..."
Well the 1st day wasn't very difficult.
The 2nd was when it got rough. I started feeling the side effects of the cleanse (hunger, fatique and more). But I made it through day 2.
Day 3, I quit! I just couldn't take it anymore. The will power you need to get this done is insane and I applaud anyone who can do this without eating for 10 days.
As it turned out, over 90% of people can make it to the 3rd day. I had given up on this cleanse and looked for other solution. While I was looking around the internet, I stumbled on this website.
Because I was so beaten down after my 1st attempt and made fun of because I couldn't take it, I decided to try the guide and did the cleanse again. Guess what happened? I DID IT! And I felt an unbelievable sense of uplift. I felt light and energetic.
Now as I mentioned earlier I will be using the same guide when I do this cleanse and I highly recommend it for anyone who wants to get the Master Cleanse done. This guide tells you how to "cheat" the Master Cleanse without suffering it's side effects and still getting all of it's benefits. It's easy to read, easy to implement the techniques and it works. It's a small investment for a lifetime of good health.

I HIGHLY recommend it for anyone serious about doing the master cleanse. It's not mandatory and should you try to do it on your own, I wish you luck. It's not impossible, but just very hard.
It's been 4 months since I did the master cleanse and in that time, I believe I may have done/ate some unhealthy things that need to get out. I'm still a very healthy person. I don't get sick. I feel pretty good, but there's room for improvement.
