Day 5...

Well today is day 5 and I decided to stop the cleanse. This isn't because I had enough, it's because I feel the most important part was done and the results today would be the same on day 7 or even 10.

I feel better. I have more energy. I'm not even hungry. My skin is clearer. I lost about 4 pounds (remember I wasn't even in this to lose weight). I have no cravings for junk foods and I feel renewed.

To be honest when I woke up today, I didn't even want to eat. But I felt the exact same way as before, hence why I decided to stop. I started my day off with a bowl of oatmeal and some tea. Ate an apple later on and felt great.

So this journey has ended, but before we call it a day, i'd like to leave readers who are interested in the Master Cleanse with a few recommendations/tips:

1. If you're interested in losing weight quickly and can spare at least 3 days to the cleanse, do it!

2. How much weight can one lose? I wouldn't be surprised if you can lose at least 5 pounds. Remember, you're flushing out toxins and nasty substances from your body. This matter adds weight to your body and when it's gone, you lose weight and increase metabolism. I didn't even try to lose weight, but I ended up losing 4 pounds.

3. If you've never done a cleanse before, but really want to dramatically improve your health quickly, the cleanse is the best way to go. You can really correct alot of health problems and regenerate your health fast (for more benefits of the cleanse, view the first post on this blog).

4. Use the guide I recommended. It will definately make the 3 days or however long you choose to do the cleanse ALOT easier. I provided a couple of tips in recent posts, but the guide will defaintely help you avoid most of the side effects of the cleanse. I got through the first 3 days (the hardest period) relatively easily thanks to it.

5. There are plenty of great guides, techniques and ways out there to improve your health, clean your body from the inside and lose weight fast (For personal recommendations, check out my free guide), but nothing gets the job done faster than a Master Cleanse. It's not convenient and does require some sacrifice. But if you're in a hurry and can dedicate at least 3 days to this, why not try it?

6. Finally, if you do finish the first 3 days successfully, the rest is easy. On day 3 I wondered how the heck I was ever going to get to day 7. But on day 4, I wasn't even hungry anymore and felt I could get through the next 4 days very easily.

7. Once you finish the cleanse. You will definately see an improvement in your looks, well being and energy. Afterward you will want to eat healthy, and i'm not saying you must, i'm just saying your body will crave healthy foods afterwards ;)

8. The master cleanse will benefit you for months and years if you follow the right path and eat the right foods (For personal recommendations, check out the free guide above). You can even repeat the master cleanse every 3-4 months if you wish.

I'd like to end this journey by saying the master cleanse was definately worth the effort. I also hope this has helped answer many of your questions/concerns if you decide to try it yourself.

Take care!

P.S. Also please consult with a Doctor if you have any concerns about the cleanse or are over the age of 50 or suffer from major diseases.

Day 4: It's very easy now...

If you can get through the first 3 days of the Master cleanse, the rest is easy. Remember it takes 3 days for the full effect to take place and all the side effects to go away.

I woke up this morning feeling energetic. I wasn't even hungry at all. My skin is smoother than it was 3 days ago and I feel alot better. In addition I feel clear headed. This was the goal I was trying to attain.

At this point if one reaches this level, he/she can get off the cleanse and resume their daily life. However if you choose to do this and begin eating, DO NOT start with heavy foods or dairy. Wait at least a day or two before doing this.

The reason being is that the body just went through a cleanse, and stuffing it with heavy meals such as meats, potatoes, cereal, daily can put too much pressure on it and you can very well get sick.

If you do decide to start, a smooth meal will do. Oatmeal, fruits, vegetables will do just fine. In addition if you enjoy drinking sodas, you shouldn't feel the need to drink it anymore. If that is the case, don't drink it! This is a good sign that your body's addictions to sugar have been washed away and it's best to keep it that way!

Anyway onward we go!

Day 3: The hardest day so far...

Day 3 is considered to be the most difficult day, because this is the moment when the cleansing hits it's peak. Most people who try a cleanse for the first time can experience nausia, hunger and fatique.

I personally have not yet felt this. Again this is mostly because i'm using the tips from the guide and have previous experience with this cleanse. However I am a little tired. I did have a minor headache the other night, but then drank plenty of water and it went away.

This is the most important day of the cleanse. If one passes this day, then he can consider the cleanse complete! Of course it's recommended that you keep doing it for at least another 4 days, but we'll see how it goes.

After day 3, the cleanse should become very easy to accomplish since it takes about 3 days for the toxins and other unhealthy substances to be purged from your body. While this is happening, you may experience the side effects, but it only proves the cleanse is working.

Anyway, onward I go!

Day 2...

I've gotta say, I woke up this morning thinking i'd be tired, hungry and irritable, but ironically, I slept like a baby and feel pretty energized.

I also wanted to note that since I started the cleanse, I had not had my usual cough. This was actually one of the other reasons I started the cleanse.

A couple of months ago I walked home on a really icy night and ever since, i've had an occassional cough. My lungs were fine, but it was my throat and I would almost always cough when I exhaled.

However, it's been 2 days, and not a single cough! This was exactly what I was hoping for. Hopefully this will continue.

As day 2 began, I again drank salt water, then later followed up with the lemonade drink. I'm started to get tired of it to be honest, but to feel the full effects of the cleanse, one needs to stay on it for at least 3 days, so i'm gonna go for it.

I also believe this cleanse is easier for me to accomplish for 2 main reasons:

1. I'm using the guide.

2. I've done it before and my body is still very healthy. Hence it is easier to do this again.

People who usually do a cleanse for the first time ever feel irritability, fatique and other side effects usually on day 2 or 3. This is mostly because the body is cleansing itself and thus the body is going through changes, sometimes uncomfortable, but still healthy changes and doing it surprises first timers.

In any case, if you've also been doing the cleanse and you started to feel uncomfortable, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water.

In addition if you feel irritable, go for a little walk. It's not recommended that you do a hardcore workout, but a mild physical activity to ease the stress.

Onwards to day 3! (Still gotta get through day 2 though :-P)

Day 1: It begins!

This morning I woke up, went to the kitchen and prepared a warm cup of water with a teapsoon of salt mixed into it.

About an hour later I prepared the lemonade drink itself. This involved mixing somewhere around 60 oz of filtered water, half a teapsoon of cayenne pepper, some organic maple syrup and of course alot of lemons!

There is definately alot to drink, but 60 oz isn't that bad once you try it. The
guide i'm using also recommends drinking water as well in case you feel side effects or dehydration.

In any case, so far so good. The 1st day is pretty simple. It's day 2 and 3 which will not be easy.

There is one warning though: You WILL be going to the bathroom alot more often :-P, there's just no getting around it.

I also wanted to mention that i'm also taking a couple of capsules with my drinks. These capsules include wheat grass and a product called psylium husk (I don't think that's how you spell it), but the guide recommends this in addition to many other products to flush out the system and help you stay on the cleanse without feeling hunger.

I'd also like to point out that had it not been for this
guide, I would probably never attempt a Master Cleanse ever again, because odds are, I would not make it.

In any case, i'll follow up on my progress tonight, if not tommorow.

Take care,

THIS needs to be said before the cleanse begins!

I have a bit of history with this cleanse that I need to get off my skin. This isn't the first time I will be doing it, but rather the second (third if you count my first unsuccessful attempt :( ....).

When I first heard about this cleanse, I really wanted to try it. I am 5'11 and weight around 160-165 lbs. I didn't need to lose weight, but I felt a cleanse needed to be done. I wanted to improve my skin, be more energized and healthy.

Technically proper eating would fix that, but it would take weeks if not months and the more unhealthy someone is, the longer it will take for regular dieting (eating healthy and exercising) to work. A master cleanse gets that job done in 10 days or less.

Now how exactly does one do a master cleanse? Here's the "basic" way it's done:

You drink about 1-2 cups of salt water in the morning.

Drink lemon juice mixed with maple syrup and a little bit of cayanne pepper at least 6 times a day.

You drink a cup of regular unsweeted tea before bed.
Click here for a basic 1 day recipe...

Rinse, repeat for 7-10 days. Seems simple right? I though so too, but then...

I found out you COULDN'T eat for that time! And I said: Well since i'll be drinking alot, I should be able to manage it..."

Well the 1st day wasn't very difficult.

The 2nd was when it got rough. I started feeling the side effects of the cleanse (hunger, fatique and more). But I made it through day 2.

Day 3, I quit! I just couldn't take it anymore. The will power you need to get this done is insane and I applaud anyone who can do this without eating for 10 days.

As it turned out, over 90% of people can make it to the 3rd day. I had given up on this cleanse and looked for other solution. While I was looking around the internet, I stumbled on this website.

Because I was so beaten down after my 1st attempt and made fun of because I couldn't take it, I decided to try the guide and did the cleanse again. Guess what happened? I DID IT! And I felt an unbelievable sense of uplift. I felt light and energetic.

Now as I mentioned earlier I will be using the same guide when I do this cleanse and I highly recommend it for anyone who wants to get the Master Cleanse done. This guide tells you how to "cheat" the Master Cleanse without suffering it's side effects and still getting all of it's benefits. It's easy to read, easy to implement the techniques and it works. It's a small investment for a lifetime of good health.

The guide also provides tons of goodies on what you can do including "cheat foods" you can eat and techniques to not feel it's side effects. I HIGHLY recommend it for anyone serious about doing the master cleanse. It's not mandatory and should you try to do it on your own, I wish you luck. It's not impossible, but just very hard.

It's been 4 months since I did the master cleanse and in that time, I believe I may have done/ate some unhealthy things that need to get out. I'm still a very healthy person. I don't get sick. I feel pretty good, but there's room for improvement.

Hence I will do the cleanse againr, but this time, you can keep track of what happens and post your comments/questions anytime! So stay tuned, because tommorow it begins!

My Master Cleanse Experience...

Welcome to the Master Cleanse Review blog! My name is Vitaliy and I will be doing a Master Cleanse for 7-10 days. Everyday I do it, I will post my experiences and thoughts. So for anyone whose looking to do a master cleanse, but is unsure, this blog will definately answer ALOT of questions!

For those of you who don't know me, I run a small health newsletter and provide people with guides, free health tips, personal diet recommendations and more. You can sign up
here to get a free 20 page weight loss guide and the newsletter! Anyway now that we've gotten that covered, let's get down to business!

One of the things i've recommended on more than one occassion to my subscribers is a "Master Cleanse". A master cleanse is a special detox that cleans the body from the inside, ridding it of toxins, undigested food, unhealth substances and more.

So what can you expect a Master Cleanse to do for you?

1. People can lose up to 10-20 pounds of excess weight within 10 days (No joke!).

2. The skin rejunvinates itself and looks younger, healthier. The master cleanse can help get rid of acne, wrinkles and aged skin. So you won't even have to buy those expensive skin products ever again!

3. People in their 30s, 40s, 50s and even 60s who do a Master Cleanse end up looking 10-20 years younger and FEELING that way too! When the body is clean from the inside, it's healthy on the outside. (Please consult with a Doctor if you're unsure about a Master Cleanse or over 50 and plan on doing it).

4. Energy levels increase tremendously. Stamina increases and even your sex drive improves.

5. Your cravings change. If you do a Master cleanse, you'll notice that you will WANT to eat healthy afterwards. This is because the body will no longer be addicted to unhealthy substances such as fast foods, sugars and other sweets!

6. Chronic pains dissapear. Headaches vanish. No bloating, constipation. Circulation improves as does the digestive system. The master cleanse resets your health in 10 days or less.

7. The immune system works at it's prime, preventing sicknesses and diseases from ever getting to you.

Click here to find out more benefits! (It's also the guide I will be using, even though it isn't mandatory.)

Cleanses have been used by some of the most healthiest individuals/groups in the world. It is a well known fact that as we eat, age and live life, our body is bombarded by unhealthy substances.

These things make the body sick. In fact a recent study showed that 80% of people living in westerized countries have at least 10 LBS of undigested food in their body. Can you imagine what this does to your health?

Think of a clean pipe in your sink. As time goes on, it gets clogged by dirty matter. This matter gathers and prevents the sink from working well.

So what do you do? Get rid of the clog! And once it's gone, the pipe will work well again! The same thing for the human body.

Updates will be posted daily so stay tuned!
